01About this page

This printable coloring page shows a cheerful underwater scene framed by a large arch made of seashells. Near the top center, a smiling dolphin swims across the open middle space, while a sea turtle floats below it with patterned flippers and shell sections that invite careful coloring. Small fish are scattered around the turtle and dolphin, adding movement throughout the scene. On the lower left, a curled seahorse rises beside wavy seaweed, and a happy starfish rests on the sandy ocean floor. On the lower right, a smiling crab stands in front of branching coral. A second starfish appears attached near the upper right side of the shell arch. Bubbles fill the water around the animals, and small pebbles dot the seabed at the bottom. The shell border includes scallop shells, spiral shells, and rounded shell shapes that create lots of repeated spaces for color variety. The page offers a nice mix of large simple areas for younger children and smaller patterned sections for practicing control and detail work.

A group of friendly ocean animals swims and rests inside a decorative seashell arch on the seafloor.

Coloring ideas

  • Use different blues or teals in the background water around the bubbles.
  • Try alternating shell colors around the arch to make the border stand out.
  • Add spotted or shaded patterns to the turtle flippers and shell sections.
  • Use bright accent colors on the fish, seahorse, crab, and starfish to separate each animal.
  • Blend sandy beige and light brown on the seabed and pebbles for texture.
